Over 1 billion plastic toothbrushes are thrown away each year in the US alone. We don't need that.

This toothbrush is made of sustainable moso bambo. A highly renewable resource that can grow 3 feet a day, produce 35% more oxygen than trees, reach maturity in as little as three years, and grows in environments that don't require pesticides.

The bristles are medium-soft. Medium-soft because that is the exact strength dentists recommend.

Made in the USA.

Think about it... that plastic toothbrush you used when you were 4 is still on the planet. When plastic toothbrushes create over 50 million pounds of waste annually in the US alone, bamboo is a great alternative.

8-10% of our oil supply goes to making plastic products like this.

Perfect firmness

I've used to use toothbrushes from amazon that I would get for six bucks per, so these are definitely cheaper, my husband is also a dentist and say that they're perfectly good and that people always think you have to go with the name brand when these will clean your teeth just as well - and they're the perfect firmness

Affordable and just as good as Colgate

There's literally no reason to use plastic toothbrushes, these work just as well. I've also never seen prices this inexpensive seriously. The last toothbrushes I would get would be more than this and they were from Colgate.

Bristles made of plastic

I don't know if they used some type of bioplastic but I'm pretty sure the bristles are plastic. It's not a huge deal because I just pull it out with tweezers and compost the rest but beware that it is plastic
