~40% of all harvested food in the US is thrown away. Many times, because they have imperfections or blemishes, so supermarkets won't take them.
When Shameless Pets learned this, they dedicated themselves to upcycling food waste and crafting high quality pet treats.
These training treats are made with naturally occurring collagen for a health boost, plus real peanut butter and chicken to keep tails wagging.
They're also all made in a US facility, powered completely from solar energy, and packaged in recycled plastic. I want to note here, that our team looked very hard for a completely plastic free treat option, but could not find one that we liked. Shameless Pets tried to launch a plastic free option themselves, but it did not sell well with consumers so they had to unfortunately cancel it.

My dog eats everything, but she refused to eat these. I tried putting them in her food bowl with the rest of her food, and these would later be sitting at the bottom of the empty bowl.
Approved wholeheartedly by our Chi mix pupper. Nice size for small dogs, and I appreciate that the manufacturer states each treat is 3 calories. That helps us keep Pupper's caloric intake on track.
According to Boo, they are delicious. I also like that there’s Bone Broth in them. Boone is almost 23 and a big dog so his joints need all the help they can get.
All I ever see for sale are dental sticks and hard chew treats. I've tried a bunch of them that report being "soft" but in reality they still require a lot of chewing. My old dog has a tough time chewing but loves treats. It is good to reward her every once in a while to remind her how good of a dog she is. These treats are a great solution for my dog. They are small with a semi-hard "shell" like a piece of candy. The inside is softer than most other treats. They hold their shape well, which is a big plus since I don't want to be holding melty snacks. My pup can give them a few quick chews before swallowing so it does not hurt her teeth like other treats. She seems to love the flavor too, but she loves anything peanut butter related so I had expected as much. The packaging is pretty decent and comes with a ziplock style closure. I am overall very satisfied with these treats and so is my old dog.
We have three dogs of our own and I often dog sit other puppies around the neighborhood. These treats have been incredibly helpful when it comes to reinforcing positive behavior. I like that they are small and bite sized but clean enough to not get my hands or travel treat bag dirty. They smell good and they never leave their breath stinky. My pups gobble them up so quickly, that I don't think they even have time to dissolve in their mouths, lol. They're willing to do any trick to earn one so I would have to recommend these treats!
