If You Care Trash Bags blows all other brands out of the water. If you've been looking to replace those rolls of plastic bags with eco-friendly options, try If You Care.

Made from >89% post consumer recycled material, meaning that almost no new material was made to create this bag. Unlike biodegradable, or bio-based bags, which can have just as bad of an environmental toll has plastic ones - no really.

Products from If You Care are certified from 12 of the leading international certifying bodies. Including Home Compostable, USDA, and BPI.

1 box contains 12 individual bags. I know, it's not much. There's not a ton of genuinely sustainable kitchen bags on the market right now.

About The Brand

The If You Care brand was created in 1990 and started with unbleached coffee filters. If You Care had the first and only unbleached coffee filters in North America at that time.
In 2004, the very first Aluminum Foil made from 100% recycled aluminum was launched. This product featured a 95% energy savings compared to conventional aluminum foil. Then in 2007, Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil for grilling and barbecuing, also from 100% recycled aluminum, and waxed paper, from unbleached paper coated with soybean wax, were launched.

The Environmental Problem

If You Care Recycled Trash Bags are made from a minimum of 89% recycled post consumer material. If You Care Recycled Trash Bags have the highest amount of post consumer recycled material available on the market. Our bags help reduce CO2 emissions, petroleum consumption and landfill waste. Using 1 Kg (2.2 lbs) of recycled polyethylene plastic instead of producing new polyethylene plastic reduces carbon dioxide emissions by at least 1.5 Kg and crude oil consumption by 2 Liters.
