These bags are made from 100% Post Consumer Recycled plastic, meaning plastic diverted from the waste stream and given a second life.

We sell these instead of "biodegradable" bags, because biodegradable ones are a bit misleading. Contrary to popular belief, They don't break down in landfills due to the lack of an aerobic, uncompressed, and sunlit environment. Meaning they can't and don't biodegrade. Crazy, right?

Also, if the raw material for these bags isn't sourced from food waste (which it often isn't), you're using water, pesticides, and edible crops to make bags instead of utilizing existing waste.

Good bags but skeptical about material

I ordered these bags a few months ago and they worked well, however, I am now highly skeptical regarding the claim of "100% Post Consumer Recycled plastic" considering that this claim does not appear to be made anywhere on the boxes nor the bags, and when looking at Green Sheep poop bags on their website (greensheeppets.com as greensheepbags.com doesn't direct to an active website), every single listing for recycled poop bags says that they are made from "65% Recycled Materials/Plastic".

Excellent Product

Good size and thick enough to hold poop. I love keeping it handy when I go on walks with my dogs. i'd recommend it to anyone. Will order again in the near future, once I run out
