Our skin is the largest organ and absorbs everything we put onto it absorbs into it. This soap is free of artificial fragrances, colors, or any of the toxins that are poor for your skin.
552,000,000 plastic SHAMPOO bottles are made and thrown away every single year. These bottles all now exist on the earth somewhere, or have been burned.
Some other reasons we love bar soaps so much is that:
On average, the production of liquid soap requires 5x times more energy for raw material, has a 10x bigger carbon footprint, and uses almost 20x more energy for packaging production than traditional bar soaps.
liquid soap contributes to much more ecotoxicity, ozone depletion, and eutrophication potential than bar soaps.
Our bar soaps aren't petroleum-based, which is common for liquid soaps.
Most liquid soaps contain palm-oil. Palm oil is one of the major drivers of deforestation, destroying some of the worlds most diverse forests, and destroying the habitat of several already endangered species.
Your skin is the largest organ in your body and absorbs what you put into it. Although we don’t often think about it, many hair washes frequently use harsh ingredients such as:
– Chemical Fragrances:
Across multiple research studies, chemicals fragrances have been classified as allergens, hormone disruptors, asthma triggers, neurotoxins & carcinogens.
– Ammonium Chloride & Methylisothiazolinone:
Has been linked to various skin related issues, plus organ and lung toxicity.
– Parabens:
Disrupts hormones in the body, harms fertility and reproductive organs, and increases the risk of cancer. Small traces can also kill coral when they enter our oceans.
– Phthalates:
linked to asthma, ADHD, breast cancer, obesity and type II diabetes, neurodevelopmental issues, behavioral issues, autism spectrum disorders, altered reproductive development, and male fertility issues.
– Triclosan:
Triclosan is a chemical antibacterial agent which may cause hormone disruptions, leading to cancer fetal development.
– Sulfates:
Type of detergent that is highly toxic to marine life when it enters our oceans.
